Chair - Dr. Daniel Perkins is professor of music and director of choral activities at Plymouth State University, where  he was awarded the first Stevens-Bristow Distinguished Professorship of Music.  As a Fulbright Scholar in Finland, he worked as the associate conductor of the Savonlinna Opera Festival Chorus and the Finnish Chamber Choir.  Dr. Perkins is music director of the Manchester Choral Society and the New Hampshire Master Chorale, and has served as the principal guest conductor of the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet in Hanoi, and as the music director of the Hanover Chamber Orchestra.   Perkins’ choirs have performed and studied in Canada, England, Peru, Vietnam, South Africa, the American southwest, Portugal, Italy, and throughout New England.

 He has been a guest conductor of the Dartmouth Concertato Singers and Dartmouth Handel Society, and he conducted the New Hampshire Friendship Chorus on their tours to Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, Brazil, Croatia/Slovenia/Bosnia/Montenegro, and Morocco.  Perkins is a co-founder, with Dr. Trish Lindberg, of the award-winning Educational Theatre Collaborative, and pianist for the Trio Veritas.
