An attractive, mature 39 year old community
chorus enjoys singing all types of music from Bach to Broadway and everything
in between is looking for a compatible music director. Must be well-versed musically and able to lead
the non-audition chorus on a professional level. Willing to pay for services rendered
including three concerts in December and three concerts in May at great venues
plus an occasional tour of 4 to 5 days.
Would like to see you conduct rehearsals at PSU, Plymouth, NH
on a weekly (semester) basis. Send
Profile & Qualifications and we’ll send a list of duties and skills
required. Let’s see if we connect as we
are looking to establish a long term relationship. We are a non-profit, equal opportunity
employer who loves to sing. See www.pemichoral.org for further details. Bob Swift, our director of over 30+ years is retiring after
our upcoming Fall/Winter Concert Season. We are in the process of searching
for a new Director (& eventually a new accompanist).

NHACDA held an All Member Meeting Luncheon at the NHMEA Annual Spring Conference at the Grappone Center, in Concord, on Friday, Apr.8. A luncheon buffet was provided for NHACDA members.
Prior to the Luncheon, the NHACDA 2011 Choral Director of the Year Award was presented to Dan Perkins, Choral Director at Plymouth State University. in addition to directing choral activities at PSU, Dan is the director of the Manchester Choral Society. The Board plans this to be an annual award to recognize the efforts of choral directors across the state.
The two collegiate ACDA chapters: Plymouth State University and Keene State College, were recognized. Also the upcoming Providence, RI Eastern Division Conference in March of 2012 was discussed. Opportunity still exists for groups to present at the conference.
Another NHACDA All-Member Meeting will be held at next year's NHMEA Spring Conference. Due to some of the confusion this year, the luncheon may change to a breakfast meeting.

The NHACDA Board is pleased to announce the results of the voting during the online election. Dr. Craig Gregory, ACDA Asst. Director for Chapter Liasson, reported that 40% of the eligible NHACDA members (all except student members) cast votes during the open election period. This was an outstanding voter participation.
Esther Ruth Holland Rhoades has been elected NHACDA President-Elect and will serve taking office immediately for the term July 1, 2011 - July 1, 2013 when she will become the President of the Chapter for two years.
Esther has a lot of energy and excitement for choral music. She will add much to the working of our Chapter.
