 Friday, April 8, 2011 The NH Music Educators Association Annual Spring Conference was held at the Grappone Center. NHACDA has partnered with NHMEA to provide clinic sessions. This year, NHACDA hosted Dr. Michele Holt, Choral Director at UConn. At the All-Member Luncheon Meeting, the Board presented the first Annual Award for the NH Choral Director of the Year. The 2011 NH Choral Director of the Year was presented to Dr. Dan Perkins of Plymouth State University. Dan is extremely active in NH choral music, directing choral activities at PSU and conducting the Manchester Choral Society. The Board congratulates Dr. Daniel R. Perkins, this year's recipient. In addition to a plaque a letter of congratulations was presented from Dr. Tim Sharp, ACDA, Executive Director. NHACDA President, Jay Chandler is seen with Dan Perkins. |
