NHACDA held an All Member Meeting Luncheon at the NHMEA Annual Spring Conference at the Grappone Center, in Concord, on Friday, Apr.8. A luncheon buffet was provided for NHACDA members. Prior to the Luncheon, the NHACDA 2011 Choral Director of the Year Award was presented to Dan Perkins, Choral Director at Plymouth State University. in addition to directing choral activities at PSU, Dan is the director of the Manchester Choral Society. The Board plans this to be an annual award to recognize the efforts of choral directors across the state. The two collegiate ACDA chapters: Plymouth State University and Keene State College, were recognized. Also the upcoming Providence, RI Eastern Division Conference in March of 2012 was discussed. Opportunity still exists for groups to present at the conference. Another NHACDA All-Member Meeting will be held at next year's NHMEA Spring Conference. Due to some of the confusion this year, the luncheon may change to a breakfast meeting. |
